Jim Parsons

Jim grew up in Oklahoma, but earned his spurs on extensive horse pack trips in the San Bernardino National Forest, the Anza Borrego Desert, the Sierra Nevada, and the Great Basin. He also advocated for small rural towns and schools in Washington, D.C. The trails and tales along the way in both environments proved inspiration for his poetry. He has published two books, Windows into Western Life and Paniolo Man. The latter is available on Amazon. He continues to perform at cowboy gatherings throughout the southwest. He currently lives in Mesquite, Nevada.
